SOGEX  Oman offers the following services to guarantee and maintain excellent quality and performance for Commissioning, Operation and Maintenance of Power and Desalination Plants.

• Follow the international approved standards, management systems related to O&M and control of Power & Desalination Plants.
• Ensure availability at all times and at all levels, as required, highly qualified, experienced, competent and well trained technical & Administrative people in the field of Power & Desalination Operations and management.

• Follow up to ensure implementation of the internationally approved systems for monitoring and diagnosis/analysis all plant operating parameters to ensure safe and reliable operations of plant equipment at all times.
• Prepare the Maintenance programmes as recommended by the OEM (original equipment manufacturer) and amend the same to comply with the site experience as gained from the actual site operating conditions of all equipment, also prepare all operating historical data of each equipment by utilizing the computerized maintenance management system.
• In order to ensure proper quality control for maintenance of equipment and to guarantee receiving the latest information and modifications from the OEM, the following Maintenance & Inspections are carried out under the supervision and guidance of OEM personnel. All these activities shall be certified by the OEM supervisor.
• Major & Minor maintenance of all equipments in Power & Desalination plants including High Voltage switch gears.
• Major and Minor inspection of Gas Turbines and assessment of turbine parts.
• Execution of all types of periodical Maintenance of plant equipment as planned in order to ensure safe, stable and reliable operations of these equipments and maintain high availability of plant.
• Operate and manage stores and make all necessary recommendations for procurement of spare parts and ensure completion of maintenance jobs as planned in time. The store operation is made in accordance with highly qualified computerized management operating system.
• Prepare on-job training programmes which suit the plant conditions for training the newly recruited local as well as outside staff and make refreshment programmes for all to upgrade their knowledge.
• SOGEX Oman is committed to implementation of safety rules and regulations. Safety is FIRST concerning People and Equipment. Accordingly all the safety procedures and regulations, which are applied in the power plants are meeting the safety international regulations as applied in power plants.
• Annual safety inspections and certification of High Pressure Vessels (BOILERS) and all associated safety systems and equipment are made under direct and strict supervision of qualified firm such as Lloyds Register or Government Inspection bodies. Also all lifting cranes, chains and lifting tackles are tested and certified for safe operation.
• SOGEX Oman purchase the following Insurance Policies (but not limited to) as per the project requirements:

             a. Workman Compensation for all employees
             b. Third Party liable insurance policy
             c.  Machinery Breakdown Policy

• SOGEX Oman enters into Long Term Service Agreements (LTSAs) with Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs).
