SOGEX Oman is a subsidiary company of Suhail Bahwan Group in Oman. Since its establishment in 1971, SOGEX Oman is committed to maintain, at all times, high standard of quality system to ensure excellent performance in all areas of operations.
In order to achieve excellence; SOGEX Oman hire, attract and retain excellent talents; adopts best industrial practices, implement professional Quality Management System and apply implement effective and high standard of HSE practices.
SOGEX Oman considers development of Human Resource is essential and a continuous process; especially the local / national employees. It imparts in-house training in its Training Centers at sites, and arranges training outside as well.
SOGEX Oman maintains qualified and competent staff on 24x7 basis in multi-discipline of engineering fields of Electrical, Mechanical, Civil, Chemical, Instrumentation, Control, Software, Logistics, Procurement and Data Processing.
SOGEX Oman is holding excellent record in commissioning, operation and maintenance of power and desalination plants since 1974. We are proud to be the first Operation and Maintenance Company in the Gulf region.
SOGEX Oman is the first ISO certified company in the field of Operation and Maintenance of Power and Desalination Plants in the Middle East.
SOGEX Oman are first to be awarded O&M project of first Independent Power Plant in the Middle East viz., Independent Manah Power Project, Oman.
SOGEX Oman bagged a series of IPP / IWPPs / IWPs projects of larger capacities (upto 2743 MW Power and 176 MIGD water) in Oman, Saudi Arabia, North Africa and India either independently or through Joint Ventures. The term of projects ranges from 3 to 20 years.
SOGEX Oman adopts a long term and flexible business strategy that expands beyond just O&M and includes direct investment into privately owned power and water projects. Therefore, SOGEX welcomes strategic partnerships and joint ventures (JVs) for mutual rewards.
