At present SOGEX OMAN maintains full time staff highly qualified, experienced and well trained in multidiscipline of engineering fields as Electrical, Mechanical, Civil, Chemical, Instrumentation and control, logistics, procurement and data processing. SOGEX OMAN employs wide variety of nationalities, technologies and experience.

SOGEX OMAN offers the following services to guarantee and maintain excellent quality and performance for Operation and Maintenance of Power and Desalination Plants.

1. Follow up the international approve standards and management systems related to O&M and control of Power and Desalination Plants and other similar industrial compounds.
   
2. Ensure availability at all times as required highly qualified, experienced and well trained technically & Administrative people in the field of Power & Desalination Operations and management.
   
3. Follow up to ensure implementation of the internationally approved systems for monitoring and diagnosis/analysis all plant operating parameters to ensure safe and reliable operations of plant equipment at all times.
   
4. Prepare the Maintenance programmes as recommended by the OEM (original equipment manufacturer) and amend the same to comply with the site experience as gained from the actual site operating conditions of all equipment, also prepare all operating historical data of each equipment by utilizing the computerized maintenance management system.
   
5. In order to ensure proper quality control for maintenance of equipment and to guarantee receiving the latest information and modifications from the OEM, the following Maintenance and inspections shall be made under the supervision and guidance of OEM personnel and all these activities shall be certified by the OEM supervisor.
   
   1. Major over haul activities and assessment of turbine parts.
   2. Major & Hot gas path inspection of gas turbines and assessment of turbine parts.
   3. Inspection of SF6 high voltage switchgears
      
6. Execution of all periodical Maintenance for plant equipment as planned in order to ensure safe, stable and reliable operations of these equipment and then confirm high availability of plant.
   
7. Operate and manage stores and make all necessary recommendations for procurement of spare parts and ensure completion of maintenance jobs as planned in time. The store operation is made in accordance with highly qualified computerized management operating system.
   
8. Prepare on-job training programmes which suit the plant conditions for training the newly recruited nationals and make refreshment programmes for all staff to upgrade their knowledge.
   
9. SOGEX OMAN is committed to implementation of safety rules and regulations. SOGEX safety policy stressed that safety is FIRST concerning People and Equipment. Accordingly all the safety procedures and regulations, which are applied in the power plants, are meeting the safety international regulations as applied in power plants.
   
10. Annual safety inspections and certification of High Pressure Vessels (BOILERS) and all associated safety systems and equipment are made under direct and strict supervision of international qualified firm as Lloyds Register. Also all lifting cranes, chains and lifting tackles are tested and certified for safe operation.

Machinery Break down Insurance Policy covers the repair and reinstate of equipment against any damage may occur to plant equipment due to negligence or ignorance of Sogex staff while performing operation and maintenance activities on plant equipment.
